Cutting Vaie

All the production flows start in our cutting stations. As a consequence, it is necessary to cut shapes without smears and with a clean cut , ready to be passed on to the following bending and assembly stations. Because of that, Alcar chose the laser cutting technology in 1998 ( both with two and three dimensions ), and today it is possible to use to its best advantage the experience of its high skill workers, which is assured by continuous training courses at MAZAK and PRIME INDUSTRIE. The cutting station, apart from using advanced laser cutting machinery, is supported by the technical office for the preparation of NESTING ( and the assembly of the CNC) by employing different kinds of CAD\CAM software such as LANTEK, SICAM… ect.

ALCAR has the following cutting systems:

Lecce plant

• 6 MAZAK 2D laser machines;
  The cutting station consists in 6 Mazak laser machines, 2 of them with a power supply of 3000W with a generating source for the FANUC ray, 2 with power supply of 2500W with Panasonic source, and 2 with a power supply of 4000W with a Panasonic source, cutting thickness from 0,5 to 15 [mm]. The machines are divided in 2 systems with automatic loading and unloading operations, with a working table of 3000×1500 [mm]
• 1 PRIME INDUSTRIE 2D laser machine;
  having an open working table of 18000×2500 [mm] with ROFIN source ond a power supply of 4000W; cutting thickness from 4 to 20 [mm]
• 2 ESAB high definition Oxy-cutting machines;
  These 2 ESAB machines complete the range of cutting machines, and can reach a cutting thickness up-to 200 mm. The sheet before being worked is sandblasted.

Vaie (TO) plant

• N° 4 2D MAZAK laser machines;
  The cutting station consists in 4 Mazak laser machines with power supply of 2500W with a working table of 3000×1500 [mm], cutting thickness from 1 to 15 [mm];
• N° 1 3D MAZAK laser machine;
  The cutting station consists in n° 1 Mazak laser machine with power supply of 2500W with a working table of 3000×1500 [mm] in 2D, and a further working table of 3000x1500x700 [mm] in 3D with cutting thickness from 1 to 15 [mm];
